S!
The starting date is otherwise good, but we might miss it, since most of us will be going to the Finnish Virtual Pilots Association's winter meeting "Urban Blitz".

But if we get there and setup our computers in time, we will try to make it to the mission

Actually Japan had radar technology in WWII (though not as good as the USA) so we plan to enable few radars for Japan, as well. But USA will still have more of them.150GCT_Pag wrote:Sorry, we have no radar this time (I'm almost blind anyway , also in real life )
Diego and I are polishing the last things on the template, we plan to give MP access to both factions shortly.

You could maybe give the Allies IFF and not the IJN to further reflect the technological differance. ?
(The allies certainly had this in their aircraft by this point.)
Its a simple radar setting that you can enable (side specific) or not when you set the campaign settings upon first initialisation.
It wouldn't make a big differance (the allies would see colours for side on their radar screen, for the IJN every contact would be green) but would be a nice touch.

That's a good idea, to reflect superior radar technology by the US.242Sqn_Chap wrote:You could maybe give the Allies IFF and not the IJN to further reflect the technological differance. ?

Done.
Futhermore:
1. We'll insert few submariners and supply points for B-24
2. CC enabled for ships
3. Apply Penalties for Failing to Land at Destination removed

Thanks Gross,
I see the changes to the emplate taking effect, they are looking very nice! very good update to an otherwise old template. I can see it now has many up to date HSFX objects
It's shaping up to be a very interesting campaign!
Please let us know when the template is finalized and let us know if we can start planning.
Cheers,
ViFF
Very nice Idea Guys. A touch of more realism for a Great Campaign! Thanks6S.Maraz wrote:That's a good idea, to reflect superior radar technology by the US.242Sqn_Chap wrote:You could maybe give the Allies IFF and not the IJN to further reflect the technological differance. ?
