Dead in statistics, landed safely

Post by LLv34_Untamo » Thu Oct 04, 2012 5:24 pm

S!

Me and Icedi are marked as KIA in stats although we landed safely. Any idea why so? We waited several minutes on the field before disconnecting from the server.

EDIT:
Umm.. looking at 07:25:33.. something definitely went wrong :)

Same here. I made a fantastic landing on one engine with disabled aileron's. Made a small movie after I landed due to the surprise of bieng alive.
I will gladly post the pictures and the movie as proff :!:

Something weird happened to me.
The tail of my Cr42 was cut off by a Bofors round at about 50-70 mt from ground. I hit Ctrl+E immediately, knowing i wouldn't saved myself anyway...
The plane crashed to the ground and it didn't explode. Absolutely NO damage from the crash. My pilot crawled outside the wreck and ran away...

Just sheer luck? (writing this just because i've read the post of the miracolous landing of Starfire...)

Cheers

It seems that, if a Pilot lands out of the starting airfield, statistics turn his mission as failed, giving the result "Killed in Action".

In my opinion Admins, after having corrected the wrong statistic, should have to eliminate this constrain being, as seen, origin of errors...

We are working on isolating the cause of the problems. The statistics are not reliable at the moment. I will advise when things are ok.

Damage loggong doesn´t work correct either.

It was JG54_Johann who sank the Cruiser but the stats name JG54_Eman who was the gunner of Johann. Eman got disconnected during the mission, before the attack on the cruiser.

It wasen't "miracolous" for two reasons:

1) Miracles assumes that one have faith. I am a heathren
I only put my faith in sceince (and hard work) and that is not a religion.

2) When it come to pulling off emergency landings I am just so incredible good. I expect the worst but experiance have just made me so good that I barely can stand my self

Had it been a real Blenheim, all the mechanics would have to do was to check the breaks which I had to abuse to avoid some fuc*ed-up som troops from being run over

In our case at least, we returned to the same field we started from.
