What's Next ?

Post by Kopfdorfer » Mon Jul 13, 2015 10:45 am

I have a few ideas for the next campaign to design.
Believe it or not , I do have a list of personal learning objectives that drive my choices of which campaign to do next.
I have selected theatres and operations which each feature a different facet of SEOW that I wish to (begin to ) understand.

I am open to suggestions as well.

My top contenders currently , are :

1) 12 O'clock High - First Operations of the Eighth Air Force in Europe
Purpose : To understand the mechanisms available to manipulate strategic bombing operations

2) Sittang River Bridge February 1942 - The Japanese strike for Rangoon across the Sittang River
Purpose : To understand the mechanisms available to use to reflect Jungle Operations

3) Banff Strike Wing January 1944 - RAF Mosquitos and Beaufighters strive to strangle Scandinavian supply to the Third
Reich over the North Sea
Purpose : 1) To understand (in detail) anti-shipping operations
2) To develop concepts for use of spies , partisan , and commando operations

All three campaigns sounds exciting

My first favorite from thouse would be Banff Strike Wing January 1944,
second Sittang River Bridge February 1942,
and third 12 O'clock High.
