Some things to set:
https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/ ... -properly/
What matter most:
3D Resolution -> set it to 100%. If under that value you get a blurry screen (when i was talking about headaches )

Thanks Greykitten, that has helped me quite a bit. I played around with 3D Resolution and Postprocess effects and it actually looks like a different game now.
I have set 3D Res at 100% and PPE at Low.

Re: Scenario 2: Zhitomir 30 December 1943
A different game indeed
I tried Arma some years ago, but i let it down quickly because of the interface blurry screen fuzzy mouse etc...
In order to make it more to my taste i put:
Post processing disabled -> when activated it seems to blur the screen when moving, realistic but not very comfortable.
In the command part, in order to get a mouse which does what we expect of her...
X/Y sensibility to a quarter
head bobling to 0
smoothing to 0
And then it begin to be more like the fps i've known. Nice.
There is also a modification that could be done in the .cfg file (equivalent of the conf.ini of il-2)
https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/arma2.cfg
In mydocuments/ironfront,
change GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; to
GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
I did it for iron front but not for arma2, i don't see the difference in the gameplay.
What really matter (for me at least) is what is higher in this post.
You can also play with the antialiasing etc..., i tend to cut them down and only set only the texture to veryhigh.
Does someone use his trackir in this game ?

I have used trackir in the past, but not lately. I need to get it going again, but it is not absolutely necessary.

I've used track ir in arma and if 44 and find it quite helpful for infantry use.

I have a little problem to find the "Iron Front - ARMA 2" ModSet in Play withSIX.IV/JG7_4Shades wrote:Hi Emil,
You have done the first step Emil, but there is one more step to go. Iron Front is a locked game so it cannot use third-party content (like SEOW-generated maps) with it unless you unlock it. Unlocking Iron Front is a legal process, and it involves importing Iron Front into Arma 2 Combined Operations.
How to do this is explained at the SEOW Wiki under the "meta-SEOW" topic. Specific information is at the meta-SEOW Software Requirements page, which gives a link to the manual install/import procedure with Arma 2. Once you have completed that, you are good to go.
Cheers,
4S
There is only "Iron Front LITE - ARMA 2" modset...
Is that ok or the same?

Do not use PlaywithSix. Use the manual install procedure instead.

Dont want to turn this thread into technical trouble shooter.
But there are problems...
Ok I did the manual install as discribed here: http://dev.withsix.com/projects/lib-iss ... al_install
Checked the MD5 sums of all 5 files. (they are ok)
Then converted games files to the mod version and then patched the mod with the four according files. (all ok)
I´m using the modcoverter to start the game. (everything else doesn´t work properly)
I´m getting two errors.
One when loading the game up "Addon 'Lib_core_eventhandlers' requires addon 'Extended_EventHandlers' " or "Addon 'Lib_IronFrontArmaCompatibilityAddon' requires addon 'A_crane_02' ".
When clicking ok, the inside game loading process gives me an error message saying: "No entry 'bin\config.bin/RscTitles/SplashAwarX1.duration'."
In the game I see the Mustangs flying over the beach.
When loading a mission I get to 80% ish then all seems to lock up...
I ran the installing process a few times with the same result.
Did anyone else have these problems too and did find a solution?

Re: Scenario 2: Zhitomir 30 December 1943
Solved the problem...
1. I forgot to activate @cba_co
2. updating my newest Nvidia drivers with even newer Nvidia beta drivers solved the mission loading problem.
Only error left is this:
It's probably not realy a problem

I have the exact same errors popping up. The single missions seem to be working ok, but there is a small problem: all tanks are indestructible.
Shades, can you send me a sample Meta Seow mission with some panzer battle to test?
