I have a request from 69.GIAP to invert Crimea<->Midway day mission.

This would be the modified scheduling:
J42Timetable_01.pdf

does someone not agree?

I can say for myself that I will try and come to these missions :), you can also expect at least a few more pilots from 102nd squadron although i can't be sure for exact number....

EAF are happy with the monday timeslot for our Centmed sector, but we have been asked to plan Libya, we are happy to do this but due to its timeslot being Wednesday we will not be able to field many pilots that day, i would guess no more than 5.

We are online Thursdays and could fly this map then at a 20.45 or 21.00 time slot.

We fully appreciate the difficulty to organise the time slots for different squads around the globe, but as it stands we will only be able to fly one mission per week and not fly the map we have been asked to plan.

Await your feedback.

Could the Crimea be flipped with Libya?

We could set Libya on Monday and CentMed on wednesday, isnt' it?
I would have preferred to play CentMed before Libia for strategical reasons, but we all have to find a good solution to ensure the missions are full of players (mainly!)

Could it be?

No no please leave cent med on monday :)

Cent. Med. is EAF priority and monday we can definitely fly in good numbers, wednesday we have less pilots available.

S~
JG26 has members in both Europe, Canada, and the United States. I personally have no problem with either the schedule 1 or 2. I reside in the United States and local time is GMT-6. My concern and that of my squad mates is for our members in Europe they will not be able to fly obviously at 0300GMT on Tuesday night. Will they be able to fly in a European Time zone on a given day? That was my understanding of this June 1942 Campaign whole concept that it was fluid. For instance I am a teacher and during a break in school I might pop on and be able to fly with the Australians in the morning or with the European members in the early afternoon, times that ordinarily would not be available due to working and timezone differences. The only times that we get to fly together with our members in Europe are on the weekends.

So I hope this is being considered because that is what mainly attracted our decision to join in this campaign.

Its always been the intention that players can join in with any sector Badger.

There are capacity restrictions though ... and it is looking like in some cases its going to be worth checking the sectors that you wish to fly in advance and making sure that the planners know of your wish to fly that mission in advance. Some Groups put a huge amount of time and effort into the planning and briefings and they like everybody that is going to be there to be upto speed on their plan. (but you can track of all of that in the sector subforums when they start to get going).

Otherwise the squads that are regular and highly involved in particular sectors are going to get priority if there are not enough slots for everybody at launch time ...(its the only way if you think about it...)

I often jump into missions as a gunner if there is limited space, in large SEOW missions this is not actually a 'poor second' option actually, if you are on comms its amazing how much more efficently you can fight the aircraft...with more precise spotting/navigation etc etc...in a Catalina or H8K it can more than double the efficiency of the aircraft (depending upon how much Beer is in the Bombay !)..and its always a great excuse for a chat (not that most of us ever really need one !)
