As things stand Cent Med is OK, we are happy with both our timeslot and the prospect of working with 102.

But Wednesday is a difficult night for EAF and realistically i cannot expect to field many if any pilots, and as EAF have been requested to act as planners i cannot reasonably plan missions for a sector i will not be flying in.

EAF are available on Thursdays in good numbers to fly but i am not sure if Crimea needs our pilots or wants us, but its start time of 20.00 is too early for us.

This is no show stopper but as things stand we will only be able to fly one mission per week on our Cent Med Sector, which is a shame as we are available Thursday too.

S~

Well then I am confused I thought this was a multisector campaign June 1942. It seems now we have these seperate maps in different theaters why not choose a theater to start have a few maps then assign both european and US, Canada, Australia members to each of the maps inthe designated theater. You could have the same schedule of flights still get folks in seats but we would just be flying at different times you guys ahead of us then we would fly in our sectors but we would all be in either the same map or same theatre of operations. And we all get to fly in all the theaters Med, Pacific, Eastern Front.

For example Eastern Front has both Kuban and Crimea maps so betwen the european squads or europe time zone there is enough pilot slots surely for both maps. Then you guys fly at your designated time say 2200GMT then we fly at our designated time in US and Canada that would be at least 5-6 hours after your mission ended I think it is 0300GMT. Then Aussies fly after us or whatever I get screwed up on their time. Every action would count in those theaters and planners would be planning on what you guys did in europe 6 hours ahead. Theoretically we could run missions every night. This way it is ongoing. Then you move to the Med, Pacific, etc at the conclusion of the theater battles.

Honestly that is how I thought this whole multisector campaign was going to work, it seems now that we are only having a intersquad battle with a few squads in our time zones on seperate maps. Personally I want to fly all the maps and I want to fly with or at least feel that I am flying with people all over the world. With this proposal all blue and all red would be virtual squad mates just flying in different times like you would in reality. Now you would really have to communicate, pilot logs, recon, supply all that becomes human driven and it includes people forces them to get involved they have a vested interest.

Anyway just my two cents. I will return to my potato peeling duties!

Hi Badger,
I already answered to your email.
Anyway, the multicampaign system means only that different pilots are disputing the same war over different world areas, sharing the reinforcements so that the various sectors are somehow linked each other, and the results of one sector can affect the situation of another sector.
But the main task is only one and common.
This doesn't mean you have to fly over each map; on the contrary, if we would be very realistic, you should fly as a real pilot, located in a specific airbase of a single map with the same kind of aircraft.
The spirit is that everyone on his side gives his own contribute to win the war.

As I told in the email, you are free to fly up to 6 missions/week.
I want to reserve some aircrafts on each map for the wild card who want to fly on additional days - according with the playability limits (we have a 127 players limit in the game and 255 slots max counting the gunners position slots - furthermore, we have also a limit for each map and for each side. However, when you fly as a wild card, you should be aggregated to another squadron

Mike,
maybe we could move the Midway on Wednesday at 20 GMT and Libya on Thursday at 20.45 GMT.
Meanwhile we realized that Eastern front was not set up. Probably we have to rearrange the entire weekly scheduling.

Is it possible to fly 2 missions on the same day?

I presume we are limited because there is a single server?

I have two possibilities for good US servers run by AVG members that may help this cause. Is there any interest in this?

Perhaps as wednesday is seeming difficult both Midway and Libya could run on thursday? Just an idea of course :)

We are going towards the two Thursday missions.

Storm, tThanks for the offer.
Actually we have many available servers:
ITA-Seow
102nd
69.GIAP
=AVG=

For some reasons it'd be better to have as much servers running as possible, for others it'd be better to run only the server where DCS and database are stored.

On thursday we should use two european servers; ITA-SEOW and 102nd (69.GIAP has the very best ping but it is not equipped by rnzoli's DSC)
American mission could be played over the AVG server.

Mirko and Brigstock are working on this matter.

For us of SUP-Squadron all schedules are OK as Monday is the only day we can have almost all the pilots available and the Med is the usual map we fly into, but if the last timetable will be adopted it should be better as we can have some (3 or 4) of our pilots to fly the Lybian sector on Thursday

Cheers

This latest draft works well for EAF.

Thanks for being flexible, we fully appreciate the difficulty in trying to get something like this organised.
