HSFX 4.11 Patch
This is a small patch, HSFX 4.11, that includes all the previous hotfix's material, plus also fix's a problem with some of the shippack ships Damage Model. This is the major component, a recompiled SFS archive that corrects these ships Damage Model (by Maraz.)
It also includes a stable 256mb 'expanded' exe which is good for Midway and TheChannel Scorched Earth Sectors.
This patch is primarily for the SEOW groups.

Get it from the above. People will post some ftp links I hope later for those for whom torrents are a dark art.

Yes of course:-It is possible change the 256mb il2.exe with old, working and testing 512mb il2.exe with manual sostitution
Go into il2 Sturmovik /jsgmemods/Hsfx history mod (standard) & 6DOF_Tracker_2_0_sHr (6do)
And back up your current il2fb.exe install the patch and then replace with the exe's that you backed up.
Marty, unzip to desktop and then click on the executable, it should automaticaly find the path etc after that.

Yes if you play without CRT...but its not advisable, you can experience weird behaviour. Are HSFX 4.1 and 4.11 compatible?
Its official YesIs this a "mandatory" patch?
You definitely need this if you fly at all in:- Centmed Libya Channel42 NewGuinea Midway or TheSlot because it effects ships that these have and in the case of one sector (Centmed), introduces a new aircraft type with new loadout options.
You probably could get away without it if you only fly on the Eastfront currently or on servers that run 4.09 but are open to Mods as they only use stock aircraft.

I could get Authoritarian all over the place couldn't I and tell people that they MUST have this....
But ultimately its all a matter of personal choice.
How about 'You would be very foolish not to install this Official Update' ?
It contains positive things that will be of benefit to everybody that has it in the long term ! (even if not directly in the next day or so in some cases.)
Do you think that would help Armwaar ?
