Testing Meetings

Hi everyone,

Each weekend there will be test sessions at SEOW HQ TS where people can calibrate their IF installs, learn how to load SEOW maps, set up for coop hosting etc.

I will be around from 20:00 (GMT +8) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and on most Saturday and Sunday mornings.

For memory,
Following the test/calibrating session of saturday (morning for 4Shades and evening for the americans (broad sense))
I put down the steps i had to follow. It might not be accurate nor exhaustive.
And i am simply pasting the steps i could read in another post with a bit more of explanations.

Assuming Arma2/Arma2OA/Ironfront with extension D-day is functionning.

check if the versions number are good for
Arma2: 1.11
Arma2OA: 1.63
Ironfront: 1.05

Then,
[For the links you can/should PM 4Shades or try to get them through the adress higher]
Download CBA_CO_v1.0.1pre2.zip and extract it to your Arma2 CO game folder

Download IronFrontArmaConversion_2013_12_26.7z from the files section and extract it to your desktop
Install the conversion tool
Run the tool, hit Create IF Arma button and wait for conversion to complete - this will take a while

Patch the mod

Download IronFront_Arma2CO_CommunityPatch_1.05-1.12.exe

If you have the DLC also download IronFront_DLC_Arma2CO_CommunityPatch_1.00-1.07.exe (Steam or Digital)

Create a Folder @SEOW in the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder and inside create a folder AddOns
In this Folder AddOns, you will put the files *.pbo created by metaSeow. Most likely you will get them from 4Shades.


Then go to Arma2 OA,

Extension -> Activate all that start with @ and which seems related to iron front
It will restart the game, then

in the first menu screen:
Numbers to check in the first menu screen:

IF DLC 1.07
IF 1.13
V 1.63.125548
CBA V 1.0.1.196

Check in
Solo>Editor that you can see the map which is inside (If any of course)


Next go to Mulltiplayer ->Distant and put the ip provided by 4Shades,

Now you should be good to go to the Eastern Front !
