we should feel proud about what we did and care about it while we are doing it but, revisiting victory conditions after the campaign is over is pointless. GK was not and is not a control point. This does not diminish the axis attack or the Soviet defense in any way, but saying "we fought well, ...

Gentlemen, as Chap has said: who cares??? Why are we arguing about having contested an airfield or not having captured an island? Some scenarios were lopsided, for sure, but we chose to fly in them. Now the campaign is over, are we just going to remember who won and lost? If that's the case we might...

the number of pilots might have to do with people having multiple callsigns due to the R_/B_/R/B/stock nicknames.

Crimea had to skip one mission due to a server problem, about a month back, so we're out ot sync with the rest of the campaign. Should we end Crimea at the same time as the rest of the campaign (1700 local) or go continue for one week with a singe sector? Most of our pilots would like to end all of ...

interesting, but isn't it redundant with the R or B in front of one's name?

As I understand it if a player clicks on the opposing side's slot, accidently or otherwise, he won't be able to see anything or click on the brief, provided he has that R or B.

some things that may shed some light: I had direct contact with 8 players in completely isolated locations, in 2 groups. In the first group 3 were kicked at around the same time, all 3 had more RAM that I did and I know for sure that 2 used the modified exe. The second group also had knowledge of th...

only saw this now, but I like this also!

any chance of it being used? As I understand it it wouldn't require any DB changes, just a change from the pilot's side, right?

again, if you'll look at the mission scheduling thread it's been an ongoing discussion from the start. The first time that an official schedule posted midway outside of Sunday (in this case on wednesday, before it was moved again) was posted by Gross on november the 21st, in the aptly named weekly m...

there was a thread in the public forum about the schedule and much discussion was had by all, many weeks before the campaign started. To complain about the schedule now, of all times, is a bit late  One reason for the time change was that we, the 69th, requested it because many of our pilots w...

ok this was just a request. I am not sure if there was a misunderstanding but the silence is disconcerting, no word from anyone, one way or the other? if Kuban is being postponed until the next year, we would like Crimea to do the same, as our sectors are tied so closely. This should give everyone t...

postponement

at the risk of being unpopular, the 69th would like to postpone, at a minimum, the Crimea for a week. We've now got just over a day to plan anew, or not, uncertain, with settings that are also somewhat uncertain, alongside other sectors (Kuban) which are also uncertain. I have every confidence that ...
